Erica has received extensive training in working with children,
adolescents and adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
As a graduate of Regent University’s Doctoral program in Clinical
Psychology, she is equipped with both a sound knowledge of
empirically validated treatments for mood disorders, personality
disorders, AD/HD and behavioral problems, as well as an
integrated theoretical orientation that emphasizes
conceptualization of a person holistically. In addition, she has coauthored
several articles and a book on the topic of same-sex attraction and sexual
identity development. Erica leads Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups for
adolescents and adults.
Erica received her Psy.D. from Regent University in 2004 and her BA in psychology from the University of Ottawa in 1999. She is still an active member of the Institute for the Study of Sexual Identity at Regent, and is also an adjunct professor for the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. Erica also consults with a team of therapists who write on the topic of human sexuality
