Jill joined Eden Counseling and Consulting in 2012. She brings the benefit of a varied experience, to include helping students in a community college Women’s Center and residents of a local domestic violence shelter, outpatient substance dependence recovery unit, and pastoral care at her church. She previously held a career as a Human Resources Manager and spent some time active duty in the U.S. Army. She has been in a military family her entire life – child, active duty, wife, parent, and now retirement.
Jill earned her M.A. in Counseling from Regent University in 2010. She became a Certified Traumatologist after training with the Regent Trauma Team during her last year in school and deployed with the team to Romania during that summer to work with traumatized populations. She is now a student at Adams State University in Alamosa, CO working toward her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Jill trains students at the practice during their internship experiences, as well as those who have graduated and are seeking to become Licensed Professional Counselors in the state of VA.
