Dr. Julie Campbell has had training in research validated therapeutic programs for every developmental stage of life. Her training included psychological assessment of children and adults. She has had extensive training with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and geriatric issues at a Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Augusta, Maine.
Dr. Campbell is skilled at incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Techniques in her therapeutic interventions. She received training post-residency at Eden Family Institute with a focus on women’s issues and mood disorders. Dr. Campbell has worked as Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Eden Counseling Center for 2 years.
Dr. Campbell completed her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at West Virginia University of Parkersburg. While working toward her undergraduate degree Dr. Campbell was a member of Kappa Delta Pi an honor society for education. After finishing her Bachelor of Arts Degree, she then pursued her Master of Arts Degree in Psychology at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. During her time at Geneva College she was a part of Psi Chi an honor society for psychology. Upon finishing her degree at Geneva Dr. Campbell worked in the mental health field for almost 2 years before going on complete her doctoral degree in psychology at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
