Lauri Stoltzfus is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Regent University and a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from North Greenville University.
Lauri is trained as a Christian Counselor and primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strength-based approaches in her work with clients. Her approach is to utilize various modalities of treatment that best fit the individual needs of clients.
Lauri fosters a collaborative, warm, and comfortable environment for her clients. She sees her role as one of teaching new tools to navigate life’s stressors, reprocess distressing experiences, and increase self-awareness.
As a longtime member of the amputee community, Lauri co-founded a support group for amputees and their families and caregivers and desires to continue giving ongoing support to this community. She has processed grief and identity issues related to being an amputee and has moved forward with acceptance and gratitude.
