During her graduate school years, she enjoyed counseling families with children of various ages. Megan enjoys working with clients of all ages, but especially likes working with adolescents. Megan completed the Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Performance from Old Dominion University with a minor in Psychology in 2013. She hopes to eventually combine her passion for dance and creativity by incorporating dance/movement therapy techniques into her work, especially with young children.
Megan applies cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and other empirically validated methods. She believes that being invited into the life narratives of others is truly an honor, always operating under the belief that people and their stories matter. Her hope is to create a safe environment where clients can discuss their faith, purpose and identity in order discover their strengths and become the best version of themselves.
